こないだやっとアメリカのドライバーライセンスが私の元へ届きました😂
通常は免許合格から2週間ほどで届くみたいなのですが、私の場合は3ヶ月かかってやっと届きました、、
人によっては半年や1年待った人もいるみたいで私はまだラッキーだったのかもしれません、、
さて！今回はそんなアメリカのドライバーライセンスについて書いていこうと思います！
アメリカのカリフォルニアでは日本で発行した国際免許は一応使えますが、それはESTA VISA のみです！
F-1 VISAの方はアメリカに到着してから10日間しか国際免許が使えないので、注意して下さい！
アメリカは州によってルールが違うためアメリカに来る前に確認しておくことをお勧めします！

私はアメリカのカリフォルニア州でドライビングテストを受けました！
車の免許をアメリカで取るにはDMVというところでテストを受けなければなりません
DMVとは、主に車の車検やドライバーライセンスの習得、各書類のチェックなどをする場所で
日本でいう区役所のような場所で１つのアメリカの都市にいくつもあります！
ただ、カリフォルニアのDMVは仕事をしないで有名で現地のアメリカ人もみんな嫌いなほどです😂
私も初めて行った時はとても大変な思いをしました。
私のアドバイスとして、DMVのスタッフの中でも稀に良い人もいるので、もし担当のスタッフが最悪だったら
担当のスタッフをチェンジすることをお勧めします！
それでもダメな場合は次の日にまたトライすることをお勧めします😂



カリフォルニアのドライバーライセンスを獲得するまでの流れとして以下の通りです

1 DMVのホームページで自分の個人情報を登録
https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/

2 DMVに行き書類を提出

学生の場合
I-20
I-94
自分の住所が確認できる書類2つ
パスポート
VISA

SNSを持っている人
I-94
自分の住所が確認できる書類2つ
パスポート

3 受験料38$を払う

4 筆記試験を受ける
無事合格したら仮免を獲得
3回まで落ちて大丈夫で、もし3回落ちてしまったらまた最初からになります、、
※自分の国の言語で受験可能

5 DMVのホームページから実技試験を受けたいDMVを予約する

6 実技試験を申し込んだDMVに行き試験を受ける
受かった場合はその場で紙のドライバーライセンスをもらい、2週間後に自宅にドライバーライセンスが届きます
3回までトライ出来き、もし3回落ちてしまった場合は筆記テストからやり直しです、、

もし日本の免許を持っていない方は日本に帰国した際にもしアメリカのドライバーライセンスを持っていたら
日本の免許に書き換えることが可能なのでアメリカで獲得することをお勧めします！
他の国も同じだと思います

※私のアドバイスとしてもしドライビングテストを受けるなら田舎のDMVをお勧めします
理由として、運転コースが簡単なのと、試験官が良い人に当たる確率が高いからです！
私の聞いた話だと、DMVの中でもサンタモニカとハリウッドのDMVは試験が難しいらしいので
他のDMVで受けることをお勧めします😅

I finally got my US driver's license the other day 😂
Usually it takes about 2 weeks to get it after passing the test, but in my case, it took 3 months to get it,
Some people wait for half a year or a year, so maybe I'm still lucky.., it’s crazy haha
Well.......! This time, I’m going to write about driver's licenses in the United States!
In California, you can use an international driver's license issued in Japan, but only with an ESTA VISA!
Please note that F-1 VISA holders can only use their international driver's license for 10 days after arriving in the US!
I recommend that you check before coming to the U.S. because the rules differ from state to state in the U.S!

I took the driving test in California, USA!
If you want to get a car license in the US, you have to take a test at a place called DMV!
DMV is a place where you can get your car inspected, get your driver's license, and check your documents.
DMV is like a ward office in Japan, and there are several of them in one US city!
However, the DMV in California is famous for not doing their job and even the local Americans hate them 😂
I had a very bad time when I first went there.
so if your DMV staff is the worst, I would suggest you have to change your DMV staff .
If that doesn't work, I suggest you have to try again the next day 😂



Flow of acquiring↓

1 Register your personal information on the DMV website

2 Go to DMV and submit your documents

About students
I-20

3 Pay 38$ for examination fee

4 Take the writing test
If you pass successfully, you get a provisional license.
You can fail up to 3 times and if you fail 3 times, you will have to start from the beginning again,,
*You can take the test in the language of your own country.

5 Reserve the DMV where you want to take the practical exam from the DMV website.

6 Go to the DMV where you signed up for the practical test and take the driving test.
If you pass, you will receive your paper driver's license on the spot, and your driver's license will come to your home two weeks later.
You can take the test up to 3 times, and if you fail 3 times, you will have to start over from the written test,,,🥲


You can get a driver's license much cheaper than in Japan!
If you do not have a Japanese driver's license, I recommend that you get one in the U.S.
so that you can transfer it to your Japanese driver's license when you return to Japan.
I think it is the same for other countries!

My advice is to take the driving test at a countryside DMV.
The reason is that the driving course is easier and you have a higher chance of getting a good instructor !
I have heard that the Santa Monica and Hollywood DMVs are the most difficult DMVs to take the test at.
I would recommend taking it at another DMV 😅

今日はアメリカでは母の日です！
日本と同じように5月14日がアメリカでは母の日で日本と同様に日頃の感謝を込めて贈り物をお母さんに贈ります。🥰



実はこないだ車で2泊3日のグランドキャニオントリップに行って来ました！🚗💨
とてもハードスケジュールで運転だけで30時間以上は運転していました😅
日本で例えたら青森から九州までの距離です
一言、、アメリカは広いなと思いました、、😅
カリフォルニア州からアリゾナ州に行っただけなのに日本だったらほぼ日本一周分ですhaha
私たちは今回ロサンゼルスからFlagstaff という街まで８時間かけて車で行き、そこで1泊してから
グランドキャニオンに行きました！
もし LAから車でグランドキャニオン二行くならFlagstaffにステイすることをお勧めします！
理由は2つあり、グランドキャニオンまで１時間半で行けることと、街が大きいのと観光名所になっているので
ステイするだけではなく、観光したりすることもできます！
今回私達はグランドキャニオンのサンライズを見るために4 amに出発しサンライズを見てきました！🌄
昼間のグランドキャニオンの風景ももちろん絶景でしたが、サンライズのグランドキャニオンはその倍美しかったです✨
それと実はグランドキャニオンにはいくつものスポットがあり、
私のお勧めポイントは、Mather PointとYavapai PointとGrandview Pointです！
ちなみにMather Pointにはビジターセンターがあり、そこでグランドキャニオンのお土産を買えます🛍️
どれもとても綺麗なスポットだったのでグランドキャニオンに行く際は是非トライしてみて下さい😉
※グランドキャニオンに入る際は入場料が必要で、車1台につき35＄で7日間有効です！

Today is Mother's Day in the United States!
Just like in Japan, May 14th is Mother's Day in America, and just like in Japan, we give gifts to our mothers to show our appreciation for their daily lives. 🥰

Actually, the other day I went on a 3-day/2-night Grand Canyon Trip by car! 🚗💨
It was a very hard schedule and I spent more than 30 hours just driving 😅
If I compare it to Japan, it's the distance from Aomori to Kyushu.
In short , I thought America is a big place 😅
We only went from California to Arizona, but if it were Japan, it would be almost the same as going around Japan haha!
We drove 8 hours from Los Angeles to Flagstaff, stayed one night there, and then went to the Grand Canyon!
If you are planning to drive from LA to the Grand Canyon, I recommend staying in Flagstaff!
Because there are two reasons: the Grand Canyon is only an hour and a half away, and the city is large and a tourist attraction.
This time we left at 4 am to see the sunrise at the Grand Canyon! I was so excited 🌄
Of course the Grand Canyon in the daytime was spectacular, but the Grand Canyon at sunrise was twice as beautiful ✨
And actually, there are several spots in the Grand Canyon,
I recommend Mather Point, Yavapai Point and Grandview Point!
By the way, Mather Point has a visitor center, so where you can buy Grand Canyon souvenirs 🛍️
All of them are very beautiful spots, so please try them when you go to the Grand Canyon 😉
⚠️When you enter the Grand Canyon, you need to pay an entrance fee of $35 per car, which is valid for 7 days

さて！今回はカリフォルニア州にあるJoshua Tree National Parkについて書いていこうと思います！
Joshua Tree National Parkはロサンゼルスから車で２時間半ぐらいで、ロサンゼルスの東側に位置します
この場所はアメリカの国立公園に指定されており、入場料は車1台30＄です
Joshua Tree National Parkの中はとても広大で、公園の中には沢山の有名スポットがあります！
この公園の名前の由来でもあるJoshua treeは公園の至る所で見れます
この木の特徴は、葉っぱは鋭く針のようで、木は異形のような形をしていて、日本に現存するどの木にも
当てはまらない特徴をしています、
先ほど話したようにこの公園には沢山のJoshua treeがあるので自分の気に入った木を探して写真を
撮るのも良いかもしれませんhaha👍
この公園の中で私のお勧めスポットはHidden ValleyとCholla Cactus Gardenです
中でもこのCholla Cactus Gardenでは沢山の可愛いサボテンを見る事ができます！🌵
あと、私は行ったことはありませんが、夜のJoshua treeの星空のナイトビューがとても綺麗みたいなので
是非夜のJoshua treeもトライしてみて下さい😉

Sorry I was so busy last week that’s why I couldn't post any articles... 🙇‍♂️
Well, I'm going to write about Joshua Tree National Park in California! 
Joshua Tree National Park is located on the east side of Los Angeles, about 2.5 hours drive by car from Los Angeles!
This place is designated as a National Park in the U.S. and the entrance price is a 30$ per car!
Joshua Tree National Park is very large, and there are many famous spots within the park!
The Joshua tree, which is the origin of the park's name, we can see it throughout the park.
The tree is unique and leaves are sharp and needle-like, we can’t see that tree in Japan.
As I mentioned earlier, there are many Joshua trees in this park, so you try to find your favorite tree and take a picture of it.
It might be a good idea haha 😆 
My favorite spots in this park are Hidden Valley and Cholla Cactus Garden.
In the Cholla Cactus Garden, you can see a lot of cute cacti! 🌵
Also, I have never been to Joshua tree at night, but I heard that the night view of the starry sky is very beautiful.
You should definitely try Joshua tree at night 😉
